Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 25, 2025

Welcome to DaiichiHotelsLLC! We’re thrilled you’re here to explore Japan’s cultural treasures through our website and booking services. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our site and services, from browsing travel tips to reserving a ryokan stay. By accessing our site or making a booking, you’re agreeing to these rules, so give them a quick read. If anything’s unclear, reach out—we’re here to help make your Japan adventure smooth!

1. Using Our Website

Our site offers travel info, booking services for ryokans, and cultural experiences across Japan. You’re welcome to browse, but you agree to:

Use the site for lawful purposes only—no hacking, scraping, or shady stuff.

Be at least 18 years old to make bookings or submit personal info. If you’re younger, get a parent’s okay.

Provide accurate details when booking or contacting us. Wrong info might mess up your plans, and we can’t be responsible for that.

We try to keep our content accurate, but travel details like prices or availability can change. Check with us before finalizing plans.

2. Booking Services

When you book a ryokan or cultural package through DaiichiHotelsLLC, you’re entering a contract with us and our partner inns. Here’s the deal:

Booking Process: You pick your stay, provide payment info, and we confirm with the ryokan. You’ll get a confirmation email with details—keep it handy.

Payments: Prices are in USD or JPY, as shown at booking. We use secure payment processors, and you’ll see any taxes or fees upfront. Full payment’s due at booking unless we say otherwise.

Cancellations & Refunds: Check our Refund Policy for details on canceling or changing bookings. Some rates are non-refundable, and we’ll make that clear when you book.

Ryokan Policies: Each inn has its own rules (like check-in times or no-smoking policies). We’ll share these at booking, and you agree to follow them.

If a ryokan can’t honor your booking (say, due to maintenance), we’ll offer a comparable alternative or a full refund, per our Refund Policy.

3. User Conduct

We love your enthusiasm for Japan, but play nice on our site:

Don’t post or send anything offensive, illegal, or harmful through our forms or email.

No copying or redistributing our content (like travel guides or images) without our permission.

Don’t try to mess with our site’s tech—like planting viruses or overloading servers.

We can suspend or block your access if you break these rules, and we’ll report illegal activity if needed.

4. Intellectual Property

Everything on our site—text, photos, logos, design—is owned by DaiichiHotelsLLC or our partners. You can browse and share links, but don’t copy, sell, or use our stuff without written permission. If you want to use something, just ask us first.

5. Liability Limitations

We work hard to make your experience awesome, but there’s some things we can’t control:

Site Accuracy: We strive for accurate info, but we’re not liable for errors in pricing, availability, or travel details. Always double-check with us.

Third Parties: We partner with ryokans and service providers, but we’re not responsible for their actions, like if a ryokan’s service isn’t up to par. We’ll help resolve issues, though!

Travel Risks: Travel comes with risks (weather, delays, etc.). We’re not liable for losses from events beyond our control, like natural disasters or flight cancellations.

Site Use: We can’t guarantee our site’s always available or bug-free. Use it at your own risk, but we’re always tweaking to keep it smooth.

Our liability’s limited to the amount you paid for a booking, unless the law says otherwise.

6. Privacy and Cookies

Your data’s safe with us. Check our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your info. By using our site, you’re okay with those policies.

7. Changes to Bookings or Services

If you need to tweak your booking (like dates or rooms), contact us ASAP. Changes depend on availability and ryokan policies, and fees might apply. If we need to cancel or change a service (like a tour), we’ll notify you quick and offer a refund or alternative, per our Refund Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA, where we’re based. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Fulton County, GA, unless local laws give you other options. If you’re booking from outside the US, you’re still agreeing to these rules.

9. Changes to These Terms

We might update these Terms to keep up with laws or improve our services. If we do, we’ll post the new version on our site and notify you if it affects your booking. Keep an eye here to stay updated.
